The City of Blooming Grove is soliciting sealed written bids from qualified bidders to purchase the city-owned property with legal description: B0400 BLOOMING GROVE OT BLK K LOT W 60’ and Navarro County CAD Property ID: 51445. Property is approximately 60’ x 100’ and located at TBD W 2nd Street, Blooming Grove, Texas 76626. Property is a type “R” property and will be sold/purchased in “as is” condition.
Qualified buyers will pay all survey fees, commissions and cost associated with closing. Qualified buyer to assume all responsibilities or liabilities. Qualified buyer is also responsible for obtaining any title history information and title insurance.
Qualified bidders are encouraged to submit their written sealed bid to The City of Blooming Grove at the address below by January 28, 2026, no later than 4:00 PM CST.

Sealed Bids will be opened and reviewed by the City Council in a closed council meeting, no earlier than 30 days after bid submission deadline. The winning bidder will be notified of the acceptance of the bid and the need to deposit any agreed earnest money, payable in the form of a cashier’s check or money order the city within (3) days of notice. This deposit will be held by the city and is subject to closing. Conditions of sale as well as, closing of sale deadline will be provided to winning bidder at this time.
The sale of the property may be awarded, at the discretion of the city council for the City of Blooming Grove at a closed session meeting. It is the intention of the City to sell the Property based on the best value bid that is submitted. If in the judgement of the City Council, the bids submitted do not represent fair value of the property. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
This city-owned property is being sold in pursuant to Section 272.001 of the Local Government Code.
